You and Your Baby is a Beacon Community Services' Peninsula Early Years program. Learn about prenatal education, newborn care, nutrition, infant and mother health, stages of child development, and more in this free drop-in program. Connect with other parents on the Peninsula. For prenatal families and families with infants up to 12 months. In partnership with Island Health, public health nurses provide information and support, together with the facilitator and guest speakers.

Through providing a quality physical activity experience that focuses on games and play, children develop their physical literacy. They aim to inspire children to play their way to confidence, skill development, fun, teamwork, cooperation, respect and inclusivity.
Head Start is a drop-in program for parents and their children ages 0 – 4 years old. They offer playgroups, nutritional support and parenting workshops, which all include transportation and childminding as needed.

Parent-Child Mother Goose is a Beacon Community Services' Peninsula Early Years registered program. A free, fun program of favourite rhymes, music and stories that help to develop language skills for children (2 months – 3 yrs). In partnership with School District 63, this early literacy program provides social connection and support for parents and caregivers. Offered as registered 10 week sessions, with age appropriate groups and snacks.
Toddler Time is a Beacon Community Services' Peninsula Early Years program. Join us and enjoy a free weekly play time with your little one, and meet other families. This drop-in program also offers information, discussion and support during this very active stage of life and learning. For children 9-24 months old and caregivers/parents (siblings welcome).
StrongStart is a free program for 0-5 (pre-Kindergarten), with their parents/grandparents/caregivers to attend. Parents and Caregivers are expected to be actively involved and engaged with their child during the StrongStart visit, so that there is optimum child development and sharing learning. StrongStart supports the development of young children consistent with the goals of the British Columbia Early Learning Framework.

This is a free program for families that helps prepare children for success in kindergarten.

The Mustard Seed Street Church has been essential in fighting hunger and restoring faith to people living in greater Victoria since 1975. Their operations are nearly 100 percent community funded; these include the region’s largest and most accessible Food Bank, the Food Security Distribution Centre serving 60+ organizations in the capital region, Family back-to-school and Christmas supports, Hospitality programs, services at Hope Farm Healing Centre as well as Church services.
Drop-in early learning program where your child will explore and play with you in an environment that is friendly, safe and inspiring!. This is an opportunity for children to explore and play, to meet other families and caregivers. Join the FGCA staff as they explore the challenges and joys of parenting young children over lunch. Programming will include a shared snack and group discussions as well as a shared lunch. Due to the limited space inside, they ask that you park your stroller in their covered stroller parking area at the front of the building while attending the program.
