Gender Spectacular Caregiver Support

1st Wednesday of the month 7:00pm – 9:00pm What to expect: Come meet parents, caregivers, and close adult family members of trans, gender non-conforming, and Two-Spirit children, youth, and young adults. This group is facilitated by a trans person and a parent (on a rotating basis). We always have food and bus tickets available. No childminding on site, but childminding subsidies available. Trans Parent Discussion Group

A peer-facilitated discussion group for trans and non-binary parents. The group meets on the 3rd Monday each month, 5:30-7:00pm at Saanich Neighbourhood Place. Babies and children are welcome.  More details on facebook.

Young Parent Support Network (YPSN)

Our mission is to support and empower young parent families in the Coast Salish Territories (Victoria, BC). YPSN works to meet the needs of the young parent community through parenting programs and groups, as well as one-to-one services for young and expecting parents facing challenges in their lives. Victoria Youth Clinic

The Victoria Youth Clinic provides peer support counselling and resource assistance for trans and non-binary youth from ages 12-24. Rainbow Health Co-operative

Rainbow Health Co-operative is a community owned organization with the mandate to provide healthcare, livelihood and related services to underserved communities. They are a not for profit, community services cooperative. Their primary service is to support individuals and families living with transition related to gender. Drop-in meetings happen on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 8:00 from October to June. #107 – 1208 Wharf St, Victoria.

South Vancouver Island Gender Variant Drop-in

A drop-in program for trans, gender variant, and Two-Spirit Individuals in the south island area. A safe space to come together, share, create, and support. Last Thursday of every month, 6pm-7:30PM, at the Victoria Public Library, 1st Floor, 900s block group meeting rooms. Contact Marshall Kilduff at the number below.

PFLAG Victoria

A community of and welcome to LGBTIQQTSA persons that are seeking supports, education and resources for parents, families, friends and allies to queer and trans community(s). Call Sharon at the number below. Group meets 3rd Sunday of each month, 2pm, at St. John the Divine off Quadra & Mason St.

Trans Care BC supports the delivery of equitable and accessible care, surgical planning, and peer and community support for transgender and gender-diverse people across BC.

Support Group for Parents & Families of Gender Diverse and Trans Children & Youth

The group runs the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 7-9pm at Commonwealth Place, Upside Teen Lounge, 4636 Elk Lake Drive. Another session on the 4th Sunday of the month, 1:30-3:30PM at Nellie McClung Library, 3950 Cedar Hill Rd, Victoria. Contact Alana for more information:

Gender Spectacular Family Drop-in

Fun for families* of Two-Spirit, trans, and gender creative kids in Gr. 8 or younger. Monthly drop-in includes free play, a community meeting, facilitated games and activities, and snacks! Caregiver support and resources accessible onsite, as well as bus tickets. *We consider families to be self-determined. Bring grandparents, siblings, aunties, cousins, chosen family. If someone is important to you and wants to help celebrate your gender spectacular family, we would love to meet them. Contact for details!
