The Peninsula Connections for Early Childhood (PCEC) network is an Early Years Community Table that builds relationships and partnerships among people who provide services for young children and their families on the Saanich Peninsula. We work to strengthen connections and community involvement and co-ordinate collaborative efforts to raise community awareness of the importance of the early years. This includes initiatives for promoting early literacy, and the healthy growth and development of all young children; and interpreting local information and transforming development research into advocacy, support and action within the community. For direct family services on the Peninsula, we are proud to organize Books for Breakfast.
